UNDER 13

The under 13s side are going into their fourth season together in 2019-20.Nearly half of the squad are from the original group of boys, but new players are always quickly welcomed in. We aim to be competitive while also making sure that everyone gets the chance to play football, and with a strong emphasis on respect and fair play.

The coaches are Steve Couch and Ed Keech. Steve is a former youth worker with over 20 years experience of working with youth people and is a Level 2 FA qualified coach. Ed is a goalkeeper who played at semi-professional level for four years and who still plays at a lower level. Ed is a Level 1 FA qualified coach.

The team plays on Sunday afternoons and trains from 5.30-6-30pm on Mondays on the astroturf at the David English Sports Centre in Bournemouth (between the boys’ and girls’ Grammar schools on East Way). Potential new players are very welcome to come and give us a try with a view to joining the team. Matches are 11-a-side, plus substitutes.
