CLUB HISTORY

West Moors Youth Football Club was founded in 1998 and has been running ever since. We are a community based organisation aiming to provide opportunities for children in and around West Moors to enjoy football and to improve their skills through training and matchplay. We are an FA Charter Standard club, having been granted that status in 2011.

As a community based organisation, we rely on the support of parents in running the club and providing the coaching. We are very happy for parents and grandparents to become involved and to offer their time and skills. We aim to be a friendly, welcoming club and to be family friendly in all of our activities.

Our teams are members of the Bournemouth Youth Football League (BYFL) and we are affiliated to the Dorset FA. Training is held throughout the year, with matches played from September to May on Sunday mornings or afternoons, depending on the age group of the teams. All of our teams also enter several tournaments during the summer.
